September of 1998 marked the grand opening of the Bryant College athletic facility, just one year after inception. The 10,000 sq. ft. athletic facility was designed to provide a home for Bryant’s reinstated “Bulldogs” football team. The state-of-the-art facility offers seating for 2,200 people, as well as a host of other amenities. The challenge was to provide a facility that blended in with the existing style of architecture at the campus, while also providing features such as concession stands, locker rooms, and training facilities, offices for athletic personnel, and a press box atop the tree standing structure.
