The Ponaganset Building Committee selected Aharonian & Associates, Inc, to design a major renovation/upgrade for the Ponaganset High School for a total of 235,000 sq. ft. to enhance the programming for 9-12 grade students. The new addition and renovation was designed to meet current and future program needs and to serve as the resource hub for the school district. With a budget of 22 million dollars Aharonian & Associates, Inc. designed a new gymnasium, enlarger cafeteria, new media/library center, renovations to the science classrooms, upgraded music facility and annex to the old middle school that will have new additions and renovations to create a new high school campus. The total project was completed in the fall of 2009.
